An Introduction to Community Archives and Heritage

Free One Day Regional Event  

Booking is now open for the Community Archive and Heritage Group South West regional event. 

This is the group’s first regional event in the South West and will be held at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre, Chippenham, Wiltshire. 

Starting at 10.30 the event will explore the relationship between community archives and community archaeology within heritage projects

The day will include presentations from groups and latest news on the Britain from Above project, making aerial images from the Aerofilms Collection available online.

The day will conclude with a tour of the facilities available at the History Centre and finish around 15.30.

Tea and coffee will be provided but delegates are asked to bring a packed lunch.
