Oban Heritage - The Rockfield Centre

A collection which is managed by our Heritage Hunter volunteers based in Oban.

The collection began with an oral heritage project ” Memories Matter ” in 2017 and has since been added to with 2 further projects – Journeys to our little Bay and
the most recent Oban – the people and the place.

These projects have been enhanced by gifted items to our collection from our local community as we build a local collection sharing the social history of Oban area.
As a relatively new collection format of materials include boxed documentation; oral recording ; artefacts ; digital photographs and hard copy books.
