This archive is part of the Commanet network of community archives. Its collection has been captured using specially designed Commanet software.

The archive was established in 2006 and contains approximately 300 records to date. It aims to record the social and cultural heritage of the local area to the present day. The records are mainly photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries, with some transcribed memories.

The Causeway Community Archive is facilitated by the Causeway Museum Service, a partnership between the four local councils of Coleraine, Ballymoney Limavady and Moyle. Records are collected by working with diverse community groups from across the area, allowing for a greater range of cultural and historical connections to be made.
