St. Breward, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom
St Breward History Group was formed in 2010 with the aim of preserving the history of St Breward, Cornwall, for future generations.
Meeting on a monthly basis in the Village Hall, the members are recording a range of areas reflecting life in St Breward and surrounding parishes. From the people who lived and worked here, their daily life, houses, meeting places and social activities, to the history of farming, industry and business, including mining, the granite quarries and china clay works. We have an archive of over 3,000 digitised photographs and are cataloguing a collection of documents which was started over 40 years ago.
